HDDs in the 2.5" form factor are getting more and more popular as their storage capacity is growing. It is a logical consequence to employ them in servers. That's why ICY BOX offers a backplane that fits into 2x 5.25" unit bays and holds 8x 2.5" SATA/SAS HDDs or SSDs. The height of the HDDs may even be 15 mm, for greatest storage capacity.
This ICY BOX works reliably even with huge amounts of data being transfered. That's a great recommendation for the hard duty in RAID systems. Accordingly demanding is the layout of the cooling. Cancellations of "pay over time" orders may incur a cancellation fee as some providers do not refund merchant fees. We only charge the amount we are charged.
For your protection we offer free transit insurance on all orders. Should your item arrive damaged please let us know so we can provide you with the claims procedure.
